On Monday, January 30, in the office of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, a meeting was held between the Head of the Board of the CTRC, a member of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Eskender Bariiev, and the well-known Russian journalist Victoria Ivleva, who has been actively supporting Ukraine since 2014.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the prospect of further joint work.
We remind you that Victoria Ivleva has been openly supporting Ukraine for many years. She wrote the book Mandrivka, or the Journey of the Facebook Worm in Ukraine and initiated a fantastic photo exhibition The Birth of Ukraine, which she dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Ukrainian state.
In 2014, Victoria helped evacuate people from the occupied Sloviansk, and in 2018-2019 she organized assistance to captured Ukrainian sailors who were held in Matrosskaya Tishina. Victoria actively went out in the center of Moscow with solitary pickets against the actions of the authorities, and with the start of a full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, she moved to Kyiv.
