A witness under the pseudonym Dzhafer Hafarov stated at the meeting that the participants in the meetings had never spoken about terrorism on the territory of the mosque in the village of Novostepove, Dzhankoi district, and at the house of Enver Krosh. Lawyer Emil Kurbedinov told Crimean Solidarity about this.
Kurbedinov noted that the witness clearly answered that he had never heard talk of terrorist attacks, weapons, explosions, hostage-taking.
The court withdrew the lawyer’s question about whether Hafarov was threatened by one of the defendants and why his name was classified, and also did not accept the petition in which Kurbedinov demanded that the personal data of the witness be disclosed. He demanded this, because in court not a single evidence of a threat to his life and health was presented.

In addition, the witness believes that the defendants were engaged in recruiting and ideologically indoctrinating people, attracting locals, including relatives, friends, neighbors, to join Hizb ut-Tahrir. The witness did not specify in what kind of violent way the defendants were going to overthrow the government.
