Representatives of the administration of occupied Yalta made an illegal visit to Turkey, where an agreement on sister city relations was concluded with the municipal district of Beylikduzu in Istanbul.
According to the occupation head of Yalta, Yanina Pavlenko, the occupiers also met with the Chairman of the local Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Iskender Duric.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine quickly responded to the situation and asked Turkey to explain the visit of the delegation from occupied Yalta to the country.
The Crimean Tatar Resource Center strongly condemns this situation, because cooperation with the occupation authorities contradicts the official position on unconditional support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
