Igor Korchinsky has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for ‘preparing the murder’ of the ‘head’ of the peninsula Sergey Aksyonov in the  occupied Crimea. The press service of the Prosecutor General’s office of the Russian Federation reported about it.

It is known that the man is sentenced to 18 years in a strict regime colony with serving the first four years in prison and a fine of 350 thousand rubles.

The Russians claim that Korchinsky learnt the skills of using explosive devices under the guidance of an employee of the Security Service of Ukraine.

‘Acting on the instructions of the same person, in June 2023 in Simferopol he took an explosive device from a cache for subsequent installation in the car of the head of the Republic of Crimea in order to commit his murder. Criminal actions were suppressed by law enforcers’, – stated in the message.
