A 53-year-old man in the occupied Crimea was sentenced to 17 years in prison for “transferring coordinates of military facilities of the Russian Federation”

The so-called Supreme ‘court’ of the occupied Crimea sentenced a 53-year-old resident of the Chernomorsky district for allegedly “transferring coordinates of military facilities of the Russian Armed Forces on the territory of the peninsula to Ukrainian intelligence”.

According to the occupation Prosecutor’s office of Crimea, he was sentenced to 17 years in prison, as well as a fine of 200 thousand rubles and restriction of freedom for 1.5 years after serving the sentence.

“The man collected information on the locations of fortifications, personnel, military equipment and positions of units of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Photos of maps with markings of places and explanatory voice messages he sent to the curator with the help of messenger”, – stated in the message.

The information about the  convicted man remains unknown.
