The “Court” in Crimea changed the verdict to Ukrainian activist Larisa Kitaiskaya

On Thursday, March 15, the Supreme “court” of Crimea changed the verdict to Ukrainian activist Larisa Kitaiskaya, convicted for publication in social networks, reducing the suspended term of imprisonment for two months to 1 year and 10 months. This is reported on the website “Krym.Realii”.

According to the correspondent of  "Krym.Realii", the  "judge" Yuri Latynin refused to provide an interpreter and in all motions of  the defense: interrogation of witnesses, attachment of evidence and disclosure of case materials.

Reference: on December 26, Yalta city "court" sentenced Larisa Kitaiskaya, Crimean activist, to two years of suspended sentence for publications in the social network. She was charged with Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of Russia ("Raising hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity").
