On Tuesday, February 20, Eskender Bariiev, a member of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, the Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center and Akhtem Chiyhoz, Deputy Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people met with students of Taurida National V.I. Vernadsky University.The participants of the meeting were informed about the events in Crimea in February 2014, in particular, about the rally of February 26and repressions repressions in Crimea. Students were also told about upcoming events dedicated to the 4th anniversary of the occupation of Crimea and the 100th anniversary of the death of Noman Chelebidzhikhan. Speakers called on students to show solidarity and join the meeting of Solidarity, which will be held on February 26 at Maidan Nezalezhnosti square at 6:00 p.m. Young people were also informed about the international campaign #LIBERATECRIMEA.
