On Friday, February 16, the Supreme “court” of Crimea sentenced the figurant of the “Ukrainian saboteurs”case Andrey Zakhtey to 6 years and 6 months of a strict security colony and a fine of 220 thousand rubles (about 105 thousand hryvnia). This is reported on the website “Krym.Realii.”
Zakhtey was accused of crimes under Part 1 of Art. 30 – Part 2 of Art. 281 (preparation for sabotage), Part 3 of Art. 222 (illegal circulation of weapon or ammunition), art. 324 (acquisition and sale of official documents and state awards) and art. 327 (forgery, production or sale of counterfeit documents) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
Andrey Zakhtey was detained on August 7, 2016 on suspicion of preparing sabotage in Crimea (article 30 and paragraph "a" part 2 of article 281 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
