State of health of the political prisoner, the figurant of the “Vedzhie Kashka case” Kyazim Ametov worsens, because of unsanitary conditions in the detention center. He has high blood pressure, worsened eyesight and his heart hurts. This is reported by the lawyer Emil Kurbedinov.

The lawyer said that Ametov's health is deteriorating because of unbearable conditions in the detention center.
"Unhygienic conditions, rats, bedbugs, unsuitable food, dampness, lack of oxygen, 20 beds for 22 prisoners, etc. His eyesight worsened, he has high blood pressure and his heart aches", – said Kurbedinov.
According to the lawyer, Kyazim Ametov remains morally stable and asked to send best regards to everyone. He said that no one should ever betray anybody for the sake of personal freedom and fear of persecution.
Reference: On November 23, Russian security officers detained a group of activists of the Crimean Tatar national movement: Bekir Dehermendzhi, Kurtseit Abdullaev, Asan Chapukh, Ruslan Trubach with his wife, Kayzim Ametov and Vedzhie Kashka. The last detainee felt bad, she was called an ambulance. On the way to the hospital an 82-year-old Vedzhie Kashka passed away. The rest are accused of alleged extortion from a Turkish citizen. A criminal case was opened on the grounds of the crime provided for by part 2 of Article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – "Extortion committed by a group of persons".
