"The story of Reshat Ametov, the father of three kids, who died aged 39, passed away for the sake of Ukraine and Ukrainian Crimea. He was brave enough to protest against the 'green men'. A group of criminals kidnapped him in front of dozens of people and TV cameras. Two weeks later, his body was found with the signs of torture… but he did not give up. His courage commands respect. I have made a decision to award Ametov the title of Hero of Ukraine", Poroshenko said.
