Witnesses of the defense and prosecution in the case of “Suleyman Kadyrov” were questioned in the “court”

On Monday, January 22, the Feodosia City Court interrogated a witness of the accusation in the “case of Suleyman Kadyrov” – the technical expert of the Crimean FSB department Alexandr Vishnya, who participated in the “examination of Kadyrov’s Facebook page”. This is reported on the website “Krym Realii”.

According to the correspondent of "Krym Realii", the interrogated security official took part in the "examination of Kadyrov's Facebook page," where, according to the FSB, Kadyrov posted a link to a video of Demyan Demyanchenko, who spoke about the creation of the volunteer battalion "Crimea" and asked to donate funds.

"At the end of March 2017, I was involved in the operative actions conducted by  Dolgachev Vyacheslav. I visited Comrade Kadyrov's  Facebook page. There was a file on the page "The New Battalion. Fundraising", the author Demyan Demyanchenko.In July, I was invited to review the same page again, where comrade Kadyrov's comment appeared saying  that he fully agrees with the author of the video, and the comment that "Crimea has always been will remain Ukrainian" -"Krym Realii" quoted the words of Alexandr Vishnya.

It is reported that, in addition to him, witnesses of the defense were questioned in the  court: Kadyrov's former colleague from the  Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, a physician from the city clinic of Feodosia and acquaintances who gave Kadyrov a positive characteristic. At the same time, witnesses told that Kadyrov never concealed his position about the Crimea  in private conversations, but did not express his opinion publicly.

After questioning the witnesses, the court proceeded to examine the materials of the case.

On October 5, 2016, Russian security officials came with a search to the house of the  Crimean Tatar activist Suleyman Kadyrov. Later, the FSB initiated criminal proceedings against him for separatism, and the Russian service for financial monitoring added him to the list of extremists and terrorists. On October 18 this year, the so-called Office of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, charged Kadyrov with committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 280.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Public Appeals for the implementation of extremist activities). The activist does not admit his guilt. On October 25, the so-called Office of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol completed the investigation of the criminal case against Suleyman Kadyrov.
