Two figurants of the Bakhchisaray “Hizb ut-Tahrir case” were placed in a psychiatric hospital

The figurants of the Bakhchisaray “Hizb ut-Tahrir case” Seyran Saliiev and Server Zekiryaev were placed in the hospital to undergo a compulsory psychiatric examination for 28 days. The journalist Anton Naumlyuk wrote about this on his Facebook page.

"Seyran Saliiev and Server Zekiryaev were transferred to the hospital to undergo a compulsory psychiatric examination a few days ago and they will stay there for 28 days", – said the journalist.

Naumlyuk supposed that the remaining figurants of the "case" will also be sent for examination by two.

On January 17, the Supreme "Court" of Crimea rejected  appeals of the defendants of the Bakhchisaray "Hizb ut-Tahrir case". Ernest Ametov, Marlen Asanov and Server Zekiryaev  will remain in custody until  March 9, 2018.

On December 21, the Supreme Court of Crimea rejected appeals of the defense on the extension of the detention period  of three defendants of the "Hizb ut-Tahrir case"  Seyran Saliiev, Memet Belyalov and Timur Ibragimov. They will also remain in custody until March 9, 2018.

On October 11, the occupants conducted regular mass searches in 6 houses of the Crimean Tatars in the occupied Crimea, in  Bakhchisaray. They detained everyone. They were charged with article 205.5.part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Participation in the activities of an organization that is recognized as terrorist in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation".
