“The case of the Crimean Tatar activist Suleyman Kadyrov” will be considered in Feodosia

On Monday, January 22, a “court hearing” in the case of “Suleyman Kadyrov “will be held in Feodosia . The “court” will begin at 10-00 at Grecheskaya street , 3-a, Feodosia. He is accused of public calls for separatism (part 2 of Article 280.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia).

On October 5, 2016, Russian security officers  searched the house of  theCrimean Tatar activist Suleyman Kadyrov. Later, the FSB opened  a criminal case for separatism against him and Russian service for financial monitoring added him into the list of extremists and terrorists. October 18 this year, the so-called office of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol,  charged Kadyrov in committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 280.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Public Appeals for the implementation of extremist activities). The activist does not admit his guilt. On October 25, the so-called Office of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol completed the investigation of the criminal case against Suleyman Kadyrov.
