The head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, the head of the Department of Legal and Foreign Affairs of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Eskender Bariiev, in an interview with the Crimean Question program, said that the future of indigenous peoples can only be in Ukraine.
"The future of indigenous peoples can only be in Ukraine, in an independent democratic rule-of-law state",- he stressed.
Ukrainians are actively reminding the Crimeans and the indigenous peoples of Ukraine that Crimea will definitely be de-occupied. Public resistance movements on the peninsula are actively using posters and posts on social networks so that Crimeans do not think that they have been forgotten.
“We need to be constantly reminded that we exist, that we are fighting for Crimea, that we are in solidarity with our compatriots, that it is important for Ukraine that Crimea return… Because, I’ll tell you, in 2016-2017 there was such a social depression, when our compatriots already began to talk about the fact that, perhaps, Crimea will not return, and more. But now the spirit is rising again and again”,- Bariiev explained.
