On Wednesday, November 16, the UN General Assembly supported the draft resolution on human rights in Crimea.

As a result of the adoption of the resolution, the UN General Assembly actually condemned the use of Crimea by Russia as a springboard for full-scale aggression against Ukraine and attempts to illegally annex Kherson and Zaporizhzhia.
Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha noted that from the successful summit of the Crimean Platform to the strengthened Crimean resolution of the UN General Assembly, the solidarity of the world with Ukraine on Crimea is only getting stronger.
“No matter how Russia wants to “close” the issue of Crimea, it will be on the international agenda until the Ukrainian flag returns to the peninsula”,- he wrote after the adoption of the resolution.
