“Maidan was conceived, in particular, because of the need for Washington to have an unsinkable aircraft carrier on the Crimean peninsula. Everything was conceived in order to eliminate the Black Sea Fleet from the territory of Crimea, and the missiles aimed at Moscow, Novosibirsk and other cities were stationed in Sevastopol or Feodosiia”,- the so-called political observer Sergei Veselovsky said.
In fact, the Maidan was not inspired by the US or any NATO state. The purpose of this Revolution was to eliminate the Yanukovych regime, but not to create a NATO base in Crimea.
