In the south of Ukraine (in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions) during the period of full-scale war in Ukraine, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center recorded at least 279 cases of kidnappings, 84 of the representatives of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people.
It is known that 50 of them have already been released, 15 in the pre-trial detention center of Crimea, and the fate of 214 people is still unknown.
