The Crimean Tatar Resource Center has learned that the occupiers have arrested a Ukrainian, a resident of the village of Novooleksiivka, Kherson region, Kostiantyn Tereshchenko, on suspicion of participating in the Noman Çelebicihan Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion, which the Russian Federation had previously recognized as a terrorist organization.
On June 18, a large gray car with a Z sign, a white minibus and 30-40 people arrived at the man’s house. The occupants conducted a search, after which the man was taken away at about 17:00. They tied him, put him on the floor, without raising his head, and took him out of the yard.
It is known that Kostiantyn was first taken to the basement of the 17th school in the city of Henichesk, where people are tortured, after which he was sent to the Simferopol pre-trial detention center. The man is accused of participating in the Noman Çelebicihan Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion.
We remind you that since 2014, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center has recorded 21 detentions on charges of participation in the Noman Çelebicihan Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion: 6 in the occupied Crimea, 15 in the occupied Kherson region after February 24, 2022.
