The Crimean Tatar Resource Center has learned that the occupiers have arrested two residents of the Kherson region, Crimean Tatars Khalil Ametov and Mamed Mustafaiev, on suspicion of participating in the Noman Çelebicihan Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion, which the Russian Federation had previously recognized as a terrorist organization.
It is known that during the occupation of Kherson they were taken to the Simferopol pre-trial detention center.
We remind you that since 2014, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center has recorded 20 arrests on charges of participation in the volunteer battalion named after the Noman Çelebicihan Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion: 6 in the occupied Crimea, 14 in the occupied Kherson region after February 24, 2022.
