NATO in the media of the occupied Crimea: The United States intends to legalize Ukrainian provocations in Crimea

August 23, 2022

“Washington and Kyiv are counting on creating a new point of escalation in the NATO-Russia war. It is for this that Secretary General Stoltenberg is actively driving his wards to a meeting of the so-called international platform for the de-occupation of Crimea with a NATO whip. Washington will try to legalize and give the go-ahead to Ukrainian nationalists to intensify anti-Crimean military provocations with the use of NATO weapons”,- Deputy Prime Minister of the Crimean Government Georgy Muradov said. This statement was quoted by the Crimean occupational and federal media.

In fact, the war continues between Russia and Ukraine, not between Russia and NATO. The Crimean platform is a platform for the de-occupation of Crimea, initiated not by NATO, but by the official Kyiv, and the pops on the peninsula are not the result of the actions of the armies of the Alliance member states.

In turn, Ukraine is seriously preparing to return the occupied peninsula, and not to carry out anti-Crimean provocations invented in the Kremlin. The de-occupation of Crimea will take place regardless of whether Ukraine becomes a member of the Alliance or not, whether it will be armed with equipment from NATO countries or only domestically produced equipment.

We remind you that the Crimean Tatar Resource Center has launched a new column NATO in the media of the occupied Crimea, aimed at tracking fake information in the temporarily occupied Crimea about the values, goals and current activities of NATO and refuting this information.
