In the occupied Crimea, a DJ was arrested for a video clip with a Ukrainian song

The so-called Lenin court of the occupied Crimea arrested DJ Yurii Rodionov in a cafe in the seaside town of Shcholkyne for 10 days for playing the Ukrainian song Wild Field.

It is noted that after the incident, the person that ordered the song, the DJ and the owner of the cafe apologized.

“The offender (Yurii Rodionov) was found guilty by a court order and sentenced to administrative arrest for a period of 10 days with confiscation of the subject of the administrative offense”,- the court said in a statement.

It is noted that the man allegedly violated the provision of the federal law On countering extremist activity, expressed a clear disrespect for society, thereby committing an administrative offense under Part 1 of Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.

The DJ partially admitted his guilt, explaining that he only performed the functions of a DJ in the specified cafe. A video with a Ukrainian song was made by him on the order of one of the cafe visitors, but the content of the song and the video clip for it were not known to him.
