More than 2.5 thousand people suffered due to heavy rainfall that caused floods in the occupied Crimea. This was announced by the so-called head of Crimea Sergey Aksenov.

“In total, more than 2.5 thousand people were recognized as victims in three municipalities. There are 625 people in the Simferopol city district, 1,750 people in the Simferopol district, and 217 people in the Bilohirsk district”,- Aksenov said.

In addition, it is expected that in the Simferopol region the number of affected residents will grow to 3 thousand due to the fact that there are difficulties in confirming residence in the affected households.
