CTRC will present an Analysis of human rights violations in the occupied Crimea for the first half of 2022

On Thursday, July 21 at 13:30, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center at the Ukrainian Crisis Media Center will present an “Analysis of human rights violations in the occupied Crimea for the first half of 2022”, which will reveal the main trends, dynamics and number of offenses on the peninsula during the reporting period. In addition, the CTRC will present an analysis of human rights violations in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions during the full-scale war in Ukraine.

Speakers:

Eskender Bariiev – Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people;

Tetiana Podvorniak – Communications Manager of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center;

The press conference will present an analysis of the illegal actions of the occupying authorities of Crimea, violations of the right to life, liberty, security and personal integrity (searches, detentions, interrogations, arrests, etc.), violations of fundamental freedoms (violation of the right to a fair trial, high achievable level of physical and mental health) illegal transfers, etc. for the first half of 2022. In addition, the speakers will present an analysis of human rights violations in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions during the full-scale war in Ukraine.
