In the occupied Crimea, the Crimean Tatar Aziz Faizullaiev was detained for setting fire to the administration of the village because of his disagreement with the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. This was reported by his cousin Elmaz via her Facebook page.

“In the video you can see my cousin Aziz Faizullaiev. The video was recorded without a lawyer. At the moment I can't contact Aziz or his parents. Aziz was arrested. I have no doubt that he was under pressure. His voice breaks, he constantly wrings his hands, he has dark circles under his eyes, he reads the prepared text. I know how Aziz speaks, how he builds sentences, what expressions he definitely does not use”,- sister wrote.

On the video, which appeared on the telegram channel of the Crimea 24 TV channel on June 7, Aziz recorded his honest confession.

The Crimean Tatar faces 15 years in prison.
