On Tuesday, May 31, in the Southern District Military Court at a court session in the so-called second Simferopol Hizb ut-Tahrir case, the bailiff drew up an administrative protocol against the mother of Osman Arifmemetov for talking to her son. It was reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.

“Osman Arifmemetov greeted all the listeners, including his mother Emdiie Arifmemetova, whom he asked how she was doing. The woman answered her son, after which the bailiff reprimanded her and immediately took her out of the hall to draw up a protocol under Article 17.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation – for disobeying the legal requirements of the bailiff”,- the report said.

It is noted that Emdiie Arifmemetova wrote a petition to consider the case against her at her place of residence in Crimea, asked to attach the video recording to the consideration, and also indicated in the note to the protocol that she was not provided with an interpreter from Crimean Tatar into Russian.
