Political prisoners Ibrahimov and Fedorov were requested terms of 15 to 16 years in prison

On Monday, May 30, the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don requested 15 to 16 years in prison for defendants in the so-called Hizb ut-Tahrir case, Ernest Ibrahimov and Oleh Fedorov. This was reported by Mumine Saliieva.

The occupants requested the following tems:

Ernest Ibrahimov – 15 years in a strict regime colony,

Oleh Fedorov – 16 years in a strict regime colony.

According to the prosecutor, the prisoners will have to serve the first 5 years of their sentence in prison, and will also be partially restricted in freedom of movement for 1 year after release.

We remind you that on February 17, Russian security officials conducted seven searches in the houses of the Crimean Tatars in Bilohirsk, Bakhchysarai, Simferopol, Sevastopol and the Sovietskyy districts of the occupied Crimea. The detainees are charged with Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The so-called Kyiv District Court and the so-called Lenin District Court have chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention until April 15, 2021 for the detained Crimean Tatars – Ernest Ibrahimov, Timur Yalkabov, Azamat Eiupov, Oleh Fedorov, Lenur Seidametov and Yashar Shykhametov.
