May 17, 2022

The occupants detained a man who, on the night of May 15-16, painted the building of the occupation administration of the city of Yevpatoriia with the colors of the state flag of Ukraine.

According to the media of the occupants, the man himself admitted that he painted the administration of Yevpatoriia in blue and yellow, and also allegedly tried to set this building on fire.

“I want to sincerely admit that on May 16, 2022, being in disagreement with the special military operation being carried out by the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, I painted the building of the Yevpatoriia administration with blue and yellow paint. I also tried to set it on fire with an incendiary mixture. All of this I filmed on the camera of a mobile phone. Subsequently, I was detained by law enforcement agencies and the FSB. I want to apologize to the Crimeans and residents of Yevpatoriia. I am ready to suffer punishment and atone for my guilt by working”,- said the detainee.
