The 21st session of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues starts at the UN

On Monday, April 25, the 21st session of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues started at the UN Headquarters in New York on the theme: “Indigenous peoples, business, autonomy and the human rights principles of due diligence including free, prior and informed consent.

The 2022 session of the Permanent Forum will be open to offline and online participation.

The team of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center will take an active part in this forum.

The United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues is the highest advisory body dealing with indigenous issues related to economic and social development, culture, environment, education, health and human rights.
