Russian invaders broke into the house of former political prisoner Edem Bekirov

On Thursday, April 14, the Russian occupiers searched the house of Hulnara Bekirova, deputy chairman of the Henichesk regional state administration, member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, and former political prisoner Edem Bekirov, in Novooleksiivka. At that moment, the woman’s 80-year-old parents were in the room.

According to the Head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov, the occupiers searched inside the house, in the attic, in the yard and garage. Among seized there were folders, notebooks and books. Hulnara and Edem Bekirov themselves are in Kyiv.

In addition, searches were also carried out in the homes of other residents of Novooleksiivka and other settlements in the Henichesk district, and several Crimean Tatars, local residents, were illegally detained.
