On Tuesday, February 8 at 17:00, in Melitopol, the team of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center will present an exclusive documentary film Give Me Back My Dad!. After viewing the film, there will be a panel discussion with the authors and characters of the film.
We remind you that the film raises one of the most relevant and painful topics of our time: childhood without a father. The stories of children whose dads were imprisoned or forcibly kidnapped after the occupation of Crimea will be presented. Some of them saw the brutal detention of their parents and now have one request: Give Me Back My Dad!
The screening of the short documentary will be followed by a panel discussion with the authors and characters of the film. Speakers will talk about the goals of creating this film and the need to draw attention to the problem of violation of children's rights in the occupied Crimea.
The event will be held according to all quarantine restrictions and will require green COVID-certificate.
