Crimean Tatar activists in the occupied Crimea launched a flash mob in connection with the latest torture against Nariman Ametov. Residents of the peninsula demand an end to torture and repression. This was reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.
The flash mob has already been joined by women activists from Krasnohvardiiske, Dzhankoi, Bakhchysarai and Nyzhnihirsk districts, as well as elders of the Salhir valley, the city of Alushta, Kirov district and the village of Rodnykove.
We remind you that earlier it became known about the torture of the Crimean Tatar Nariman Ametov with the use of electric current. All activists are outraged by the lawlessness that has taken place and in their appeal demand an end to torture and repression.
“We have gathered here to say a resolute no to torture and abuse of our people. By persecuting and torturing our children, you torture their mothers, you torture our young children”,- said Nadiie Izetova, the mother of political prisoner Riza Izetov.

“Torture, bullying, kidnapping, they do not leave anyone indifferent. We express our disagreement, indignation and concern about our future existence and we demand that the authorities understand this situation, take measures to prevent this from happening in the future”, – Muhammad-Ali Fakidov expressed his indignation.
