December 25, 2021

On Thursday, December 23, in Dnipro, in Yavornytskyy / ATO Museum, the team of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center presented an exclusive documentary film Give Me Back My Dad!

The event was attended by team members who worked on the production of the film, MPs, activists, volunteers, public figures, journalists and others.

The manager of the CTRC Zarema Bariieva told the audience that this film tells about the two most vulnerable categories of children who suffered from the temporary occupation of Crimea, and also listed all the other categories of children who became hostages of the current situation or victims of terror.

“It is very difficult for these children to talk about the psychological trauma they received after the illegal arrests, the repeated brutal searches taking place in their homes in front of their eyes”,- she said.

Bariieva stressed that this film is available in seven languages: Ukrainian, Arabic, German, English, Turkish, Italian and Spanish.

“We want as many partners of Ukraine within the Crimean Platform as possible to watch this film in one language or another and to do everything in their power to free the fathers whose children in Crimea are waiting for their return home every day”,- explained Zarema Bariieva.

In his speech, Crimean Tatar activist Elvin Kadyrov spoke about how he helped to ensure that this summer 50 children of the Kremlin prisoners could go to Turkey for rehabilitation and that it would be great to invite these children for rehabilitation in various cities of mainland Ukraine.
