ANNOUNCEMENT: CTRC will present an exclusive documentary film Give Me Back My Dad! in Dnipro

December 16, 2021

On Thursday, December 23 at 16:00, in Yavornytskyy ATO Museum, the team of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center will present an exclusive documentary film Give Me Back My Dad! After watching the film, a panel discussion will take place with the authors and heroes of the film.

We remind you that the film raises one of the most pressing and painful topics of our time: childhood without a father. The stories of children whose dads were imprisoned or forcibly kidnapped after the occupation of Crimea will be presented. Some of them saw the brutal detention of their parents and now have one request: Give Me Back My Dad!

After the screening of the short documentary film, a panel discussion will take place with the authors and heroes of this film. Speakers will talk about the goals of creating this film and the need to draw attention to the problem of violation of children's rights in the occupied Crimea.

The event will be held in compliance with all quarantine restrictions and with a green COVID certificate.

Organizers: Crimean Tatar Resource Center, Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Crimean Tatar cultural and educational center in Dnipro and Yavornytskyy ATO Museum with the support of the German Embassy in Ukraine.
