In Ukraine, a list of goods restricted or prohibited for movement across the administrative border has been approved

On Tuesday, December 7, the order of the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine On approval of the List and volumes (value / weight / quantity) of goods restricted or prohibited for movement across the administrative border, as well as goods that can be classified as personal belongings came into force.

The order is intended to simplify as much as possible the process of crossing the administrative border with the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol for civilians. The following restrictions on value / weight / quantity have been established for the movement of other goods that do not have signs of consumption, and which are moved as personal belongings across the administrative border in the hand luggage of an individual:

– from territories controlled by Ukraine to the temporarily occupied territory – without restrictions;

– from the temporarily occupied territory to the territories controlled by Ukraine – the total invoice value of which does not exceed the equivalent of UAH 10,000 and / or the total weight of which does not exceed 75 kg per person (provided that food products are no more than 2 kg of each item and non-food products ) – no more than 2 units of each item).

In addition, an individual can move cash across the administrative border in an amount not exceeding UAH 100,000, or an equivalent amount, including in foreign currency. If the amount exceeds UAH 100,000, the person must provide a document confirming the origin of the funds.
