Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, Head of the Department of Legal and Foreign affairs of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Eskender Bariiev, in an interview with the ATR TV channel, spoke about the military presence of the Russian Federation in the occupied Crimea.
“The Russian Federation is strengthening its military presence in the occupied Crimea. According to our data, in October 2021 alone, we recorded 5 military exercises, during which more than 12 thousand servicemen were involved in more than 550 units of military and special equipment”,- he said.
Bariiev stressed that the Russian Federation constantly conducts such military training, as well as systematically conducts various provocations. What should Ukraine do?
“In fact, it is important for Ukraine to actively work on the modernization of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and it is necessary to fight not for the number, but for the quality of each serviceman”,- the expert added.
