For over 9 months of 2021, the Russian security forces placed Crimean political prisoners in punishment cells, special blocks and special detention cells at least 27 times. The most revealing case is the case of political prisoner Teymur Abdullaev, who was placed in a punishment cell 10 times. This is stated in the analysis of human rights violations in Crimea for over 9 months of 2021 by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center.
In the punishment cell were placed: Teymur Abdullaev (9), Andrii Kolomiiets (2), Muslim Aliev (2), Uzeir Abdullaev, Emil Dzhemadenov, Ayder Saledinov and Rustem Ismailov.
In special blocks: Server Mustafayev, Server Zakiryaev, Riza Izetov, Marlen Asanov, Edem Smailov, Timur Yalkabov and Nariman Dzhelyalov.
In special detention cells: Andrii Kolomiiets (2) and Teymur Abdullaev.
In fact, the practice of placing Crimean political prisoners in a punishment cell is already widespread and does not cause any surprise. This trend has become more evident in 2020. The occupiers continue to put pressure on our compatriots in order to mentally break and subdue them.
It is important not to be silent about these cases, but to record and talk about them.
