Political prisoners Riza and Enver Omerov, Rustem Emiruseinov and Server Mustafayev complain about the terrible conditions in the pre-trial detention center: the cells are full of rats and insects. Their complaints were ignored. This was reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.
“In particular, Emil (the lawyer) said that Server Mustafayev had already killed 39 rats during his stay in the isolation ward – they ruined his shoes and clothes. In addition, the prisoners are tormented by harmful insects like ticks”,- the message said.
In addition, the cells are poorly ventilated, they are covered with fungus, water is supplied irregularly and unsuitable for drinking, there are not enough beds for all prisoners, the toilet does not meet sanitary standards, the right to daily walks is ignored, and the right to calls is not exercised.
