September 14, 2021

On Friday, September 3, the occupants searched the house of the Crimean Tatar Asan Akhtemov. The political prisoner himself told in his letter about how the detention took place and what kind of torture was used against him. This was reported by the Hraty media agency.

“They took me into a room, put me on a chair facing the back of the chair, tied my legs to the legs of the chair with tape, and tied my hands to the back with tape. When they were escorting me, these people constantly threatened me that weapons and drugs would be planted on me, they said that my wife was beautiful and hinted that they could also harm her”,- Asan said.

The political prisoner added that after he was put on a chair and tied, bare wires were hung on his ears, after which he felt a strong electric shock. It lasted for about ten seconds. And so about six or seven times.

“After that, the current discharges were started up little by little and they talked to me at the same time. When the current was turned on, I was constantly trembling. After that, I agreed with everything that these people told me. And they told me that I blew up a gas pipe in Perevalnoe, that my brother Aziz Akhtemov had already told everything, that they knew everything, how we did it, what car we used and other details. They threatened me that I would never leave this place”,- he added.

After that, Asan was put in a car and taken somewhere. They pulled him out of the car and said: Let's run and remember that I am good at shooting. Asan only replied: “I will not run, kill me here.”

“After that they put me in a car and drove off somewhere else. I was brought to the FSB building at 13 Franko Boulevard in Simferopol, where I was interrogated by investigators, and I signed many documents. At the same time, I felt very bad, as my whole body ached, I was suffocating. In the FSB building they turned on their camera, and I said whatever they needed”,- he explained.
