In the occupied Crimea, 14 so-called criminal cases were opened for evading service in the Russian army

In the occupied Crimea in August, 14 new so-called criminal cases were recorded against residents of Crimea under Article 328 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (evasion from service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation), as well as 10 sentences. This was reported by the Crimean Human Rights Group.

“14 new criminal cases and 10 new sentences against residents of Crimea for evasion from service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (Article 328 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) were recorded in August by the Crimean Human Rights Group”,- the report said.

It is noted that for the entire period of the occupation of the peninsula, 258 criminal cases were recorded for evasion of service in the Armed Forces of Russia, transferred for consideration to the so-called courts of Crimea. A verdict has already been passed on 232 of them, and another 26 are under consideration.
