Activist Ludovica Papadopulu was detained in the occupied Crimea

On the night of August 5, Russian security forces detained activist Ludovica Papadopulu at the administrative border with the occupied Crimea, as she was put on the wanted list. The so-called court has already chosen a preventive measure in the form of a ban on certain actions. This was reported by lawyer Oleksii Ladin via his Facebook page.

“Today, on August 6, 2021, the so-called Kyiv District Court of Simferopol (Judge Dolgopolov) considered the petition of the investigator of the State Investigation Department, Anton Gulya, to choose for Ludovica Papadopulu as a measure of restraint the house arrest. In the opinion of the investigation, Ludovica tried to escape, in connection with which she was put on the wanted list. All this is not true. Nobody informed Papadopulu about the investigative actions”,- the message said.

The so-called court chose a preventive measure in the form of a ban on certain actions, banning Papadopulu from communicating by phone and accessing the Internet, communicating with witnesses and victims in a criminal case, as well as leaving home from 20:00 to 08:00 until September 5, 2021.
