UN Council adopted resolution on human rights in Ukraine

On Tuesday, July 13, the UN Human Rights Council adopted a resolution Cooperation with Ukraine and assistance in the field of human rights. 45 countries became co-authors of the document together with Ukraine.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, according to the document, the UN Human Rights Council over the next two years will continue to consider the human rights situation in Ukraine – throughout its entire territory within the internationally recognized borders.

In addition, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights will also continue to provide Ukraine with technical assistance in the field of human rights.

45 countries became co-authors of the document together with Ukraine, including the EU countries, Australia, Albania, UK, Georgia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Israel, Canada, Libya, Moldova, Norway, New Zealand, North Macedonia, USA, Turkey, Montenegro, Switzerland Japan.
