The defendants in the so-called third Bakhchysarai Hizb ut-Tahrir case had their term of arrest extended

The Russian court has extended the term of detention of the defendants in the so-called third Bakhchysarai Hizb ut-Tahrir case. Seytumer Seytumerov, Osman Seytumerov and Rustem Seitmemetov will remain under arrest for another 3 months.

We remind that on March 11, 2020, Russian security forces raided the homes of Crimean Tatars in Bakhchysarai and the Bakhchysarai district. Searches were carried out in the house of Seitumer Seitumerov, Shukri Seitumerov, Amet Suleymanov, Seidamet Mustafayev, Rustem Seitmemetov, Ayder Suleymanov and Seitumer Seitumerov. The activists were detained. On March 12, the so-called Kyiv District Court of Simferopol sent Amet Suleymanov under house arrest. On March 13, the so-called Kyiv District Court chose a measure of restraint for the defendants in the so-called third Bakhchysarai Hizb ut-Tahrir case – Osman Seytumerov, Seytumer Seytumerov and Rustem Seitememetov in the form of detention.
