We remind that on June 24, the manager of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center Zarema Bariieva took part in a general online discussion on the rights of indigenous women and girls, organized by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights within the framework of the 79th session of the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women.
Bariieva stressed that now 64 wives, 119 mothers and 98 daughters in the occupied Crimea are experiencing severe psychological pain, since their husbands, fathers and sons were illegally arrested on far-fetched cases, and moreover, were transported to the Russian Federation far from their homeland.
