The so-called head of the Yalta administration of the occupied Crimea, Yanina Pavlenko, said that the result of heavy downpours and floods on the peninsula was that Yalta got enough water reserves for another year. She wrote about this via her Facebook page.

“According to the Southern Crimean Water Canal administration, this is more than enough for a year of round-the-clock water supply and complete absence of inflows for the entire Big Yalta. And this is also the result of these terrible downpours. Probably the most positive result”,- Pavlenko wrote.

She noted that the volume of water in the Zahirske reservoir is 24 million cubic meters (useful – almost 22), in Schaslyvenske – more than 11 (useful – almost 11).
