More than 20 thousand servicemen and more than 1300 units of special military equipment were involved in the elimination of the consequences of a natural disaster in the territory of the occupied Crimea. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“The group of the Russian Ministry of Defense with a total number of more than 21 thousand servicemen and more than 1300 units of special military equipment under the direct supervision of the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Dmitry Bulgakov, continues to carry out tasks to eliminate the consequences of a natural disaster in the territory of the Republic of Crimea”,- the message said.
It is noted that taking into account the coming holiday season, the operational group of the military department is taking exhaustive measures to quickly normalize the situation in the areas of the Crimean peninsula affected by emergencies.
