On Thursday, June 3, it was announced that purchases were made in the amount of 24.987 million UAH for the creation and distribution of an information product on television in the Crimean Tatar language, as a result of which ATR became the winner. The TV channel will receive funding from the state budget. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.
“Back in April, we began procurement procedures, the purpose of which is to provide access for our citizens, who are in isolation due to the occupation, including information, to Ukrainian television and radio. And the provision of budget funding and support for television and radio companies that broadcast in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine will help to do this. Three purchases were announced, two of which took place according to the principle of a negotiation procedure. We are talking about the Crimean Tatar children's channel Lâle and the Crimean Tatar channel ATR”,- said Oleksii Reznikov.
Reznikov stressed that the conditions for obtaining state funding should be the same for all broadcasters in the temporarily occupied territories: transparent, honest, according to European standards.
