Almost 2 million tourists have rested in the occupied Crimea in six months

In the occupied Crimea, despite the spread of coronavirus infection, over 1 million 958 thousand tourists rested in January-May, most of whom came to the peninsula from the Russian Federation via the Crimean bridge. This was reported by the so-called head of the occupied Crimea Sergei Aksenov.

“In January-May of this year, Crimea was visited by more than 1 million 958 thousand tourists. This is 53.3% higher than the level of the same period in 2019. 65% of those tourists arrived via the Crimean bridge by cars and buses, 30% by air, 5% by railway”,- the message said.

Aksenov noted that the tourist flow in May amounted to about 956 thousand tourists, which is 60% more than in 2019.
