Zelensky submitted a draft law “On the indigenous peoples of Ukraine to Parliament”

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that he has submitted an urgent bill on indigenous peoples to the Parliament of Ukraine. He added that soon the MPs will consolidate the status of the indigenous peoples of Ukraine, in particular the Crimean Tatars.

“And today, I am submitting a bill on the indigenous peoples of Ukraine to the Verhovna Rada as urgent. I am sure that in a short time the MPs will consider and consolidate the status of the indigenous peoples of Ukraine, in particular the Crimean Tatars, and finally do what they have postponed for 30 years, eight convocations of the Verkhovna Rada and all previous presidents”,-Zelensky said.
