#LIBERATECRIMEA: European Solidarity expressed solidarity with the indigenous people of Crimea

May 18, 2021

On Tuesday, May 18, the day of memory of the victims of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people, the MPs from the political party European Solidarity expressed their solidarity with the indigenous people of Crimea. Participants in the video message unfurled posters with the words: Crimea is Ukraine!, #LIBERATECRIMEA, #NoGenocide.

“The occupation of the Crimean peninsula in 2014 became a natural continuation of the Kremlin's repressive chauvinist policy towards the Crimean Tatar people. Dozens of Crimean Tatars were persecuted and imprisoned for their political beliefs and cultural identity”,- the MPs said.

European Solidarity expressed its solidarity with the indigenous people of Crimea, who again lost their home because of Moscow's actions.
