ANNOUNCEMENT: CTRC will present a documentary film Witnesses of the 1944 Genocide

On Tuesday, May 18 at 19:00, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center will show the full-length documentary Witnesses of the 1944 Genocide, dedicated to the investigation and recognition of the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people as an act of genocide. In the testimony and memoirs of the heroes of the film, there is the fate of hundreds of thousands of other deported Crimean Tatars. The footage presented in the film is exclusive. The scenes were recorded during court hearings as part of the criminal investigation of the 1944 genocide of the Crimean Tatar people. Some of the heroes of the film are no longer alive, but their testimony will forever remain legally relevant and will serve as a source of objective information about the terrible tragedy of the indigenous people of Crimea.
